Pritchard Bond Architects was formed in Bangor, North Wales in 1999 by Stephen Bond RIBA and Dic Pritchard, RIBA (now retired), following the appointment of Steve from an Associate to a Director. This new practice was a logical transition from the previous practice of Pritchard Owen Davies Partnership, which had been practicing from the Bangor office for over 10 years. Originally from Llandudno Junction, Steve trained in Leeds, securing both his degree and post graduate qualifications there, and whilst working for Leeds based Architects William Gower and Partners. Following which he returned to North Wales to join G. E O'Dell Chartered Architect and then subsequently Dic Pritchard at Pritchard Owen Davis partnership.
In 2012, Pritchard Bond Architects relocated to Llandudno Junction.
